Set up the Windows ACL privileges of folders/files stored on Synology NAS

If you want to set up the Windows ACL privileges of folders/files stored on Synology NAS, do the following:

1. Log in to DSM as an administrator, which could be an administrator (admin or a user belonging to the administrators group) or a domain administrator.
2. Go to Main Menu > Control Panel > Shared Folder, and then select a shared folder you wish to set up Windows ACL privilege.
3. Click the Action –> Convert to Windows Access Control List
